The intent of this website is to assist you with the installation of software so you can use your CAC on your Windows Personal Computer. Mac users are helped too
I just purchased SCM SCR3500 Smart Card reader so I am trying to use centrify to access AKO and email with my CAC. 1) I checked to make sure my Mac was finding the reader by going to About this mac --> system report --> hardware --> USB --> and I see the SCR3500 reader (it says version 2.02). Using CAC and Smart Card Reader on Mac OS X Secure. If you have Common Access Card (CAC), and a smart card reader, you can start using them on Mac OS X. Smart Card Applications By installing Centrify Express for Smart Card, you can start using smart card with applications, such as Safari browser, Mail.app or Outlook. This memory card reader is replacing my old USB 2 card reader. It looks pretty slick, but more importantly, it's very fast. I normally take raw photos and this reader instantly loads the images as soon as I click on them. Another reason I chose this brand was the fact it offered a slot for my old XD cards.

If you would like to utilize your CAC to only logon to your webmail, AKO, or other CAC enabled sites (and not sign forms), consider using LPS (Lightweight Portable Security) and not install any CAC software on your computer.
