Do you know if there's a way to have fingerprint authentication on Mac? If so, is there any scanner compatible available?

Touch ID is Apple's fingerprint sensor built-in to the Home button that first debuted with the iPhone 5s and has made its way to all iPhones since, along with iPads and the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Does any one know of a way to enable finger print login on osx mavericks (or osx Yosemite as it will be replacing mavericks) for a eikon usb reader? I'v been trying to find a way to use the normal. I ordered this fingerprint scanner with fairly low expectations, considering its bargain basement price. As it turns out, the Mac software (a free download from the company's web site) is superb and integrates seamlessly into the operating system. If your Mac has a Touch Bar, use Touch ID preferences to enable your Mac to be unlocked with your fingerprint, add one or more fingerprints to your user account, and enable Touch ID to be used to make purchases with Apple Pay and from the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store. Yes - you will want to start with the Smart Card services source code or compiled installer that Apple publishes and then pick whatever device you like that integrates to this infrastructure.
